FoSCos/ FSSAI STATE LICENSE

FSSAI license is mandatory for anyone involved in the food business. Be it food processing, food manufacturing, packaging, or distributing, you need to get an FSSAI registration to run your business.

The license is issued by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), an institution that monitors food businesses under the guidelines and regulations listed in the FSSAI Act 2006.

REQUIRED CRITERIA FOR FSSAI State License


   

The FSSAI State License has to be taken by mid-sized companies that have an annual turnover or a profit greater than within Rs. 12 Lakhs to Rs. 20 Crores. Small and medium business entities like food producers, transporters, marketers, retailers, and food processing units need to get a food license from the State Government. State FSSAI License form B is needed to be filed when the food unit’s turnover is less than 20 crores and whose area of operation is limited to the state only. It is given by the Government of state.

  1. Form B duly completed and signed by the proprietor / partners or the authorized signatory.
  2. Copy of Aadhar card/voter identity
  3. Pan card of company /director firm & partners/proprietor
  4. Rent agreement copy (if rented property)
  5. Electricity Bill/ water bill /telephone bill
  6. 2 Photographs white each (White background) Directors or owner
  7. Copy of cancel cheque
  8. Registered email id
  9. Registered phone number that linked with your Aadhar card.
