Business License

Water Pollution License

A Water Pollution License (commonly referred to as a Consent to Establish or Consent to Operate) is a mandatory environmental clearance issued by the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. It allows industries to legally discharge trade effluents (wastewater) into water bodies or treatment systems, only after meeting specific environmental standards.

It is a permission from the government that ensures your industrial or commercial activity does not pollute water sources like rivers, lakes, ponds, or underground water.
